Penn 7500ss

Anybody have tricks for removing frozen bolts in the side plate. I just purchased a 7500ss the reel feels great but the secondary dog is not functioning. I attempted to disassemble but the side bolts are frozen, to the point you just know the are going to break.

Soaked them overnight with wd40 and they broke loose
