Went fishing on 6/20 on the Finaddict, a 41' Radon 6-pack charter boat with Captain Jim Klein. He put us on full limits of big reds and ling cod. Thought that I had an Alaska-grade ling cod, but it turned out to be a pair, 23.5 and 18 lbs. They must have taken synchronised swimming lessons because they ripped some serious drag a couple of times.

Nice job on double hookup of good eating size lings. Bet it was a fun fight. How deep were you fishing ??

Thank you Ted.  We were fishing 400'.  So. Cal. just raised the maximum depth for rockfish sportfishing from 360 up to 450', so there's a lot of relatively virgin water.
