just something with blue

its what he said, just do it with some blue on it.

so, I painted the blank navy blue, use some artic blue as underwrap and the overwrap wtith a kind of matte blue and tried for the 1st time using the buttwrap thread "ribbons" for some cosmetic / decorative wraps, I like how it looks making different patterns when wrapping it, but its not a friendly material to work, it has a lot of recoil, but ended up looking good with the 3 coats of epoxy.

this rod was kind of easy, my friend wanted something straight with not too many colors or designs.

Looking good as always! I like that black and white band you put in the middle. Kinda gives it a reference point for the blue and makes it pop.
