Penn 50vsw two speed maintenance / repair

I'm sorry but I'm new to the forum and I don't know how to a search???

I'm trying to do the maintenance / repairs on my VSW 2 speeds 30,50,70

The reel I'm working on now the shaft going into the reel isn't turning and I can't figure out how to get it of with the shift button on it

Also on side note I was planning on using drag grease, any thoughts on that??

Most here use cal's drag grease

please let us know if this helps.  for a drag grease, yes, most of us use cal's grease!
