1974 Mitchell 300 Schematic and Parts List.

This schematic shows the Mitchell 300 after it had been around for awhile.  You will note that the Anti-Reverse control is now a straight lever, changed from the earlier boomerang shape.  The Anti-reverse dog (81945) has now been changed from the old metal version to the new plastic version.
This drawing also shows the handle version (81045) with the screw locking counter weight, changed from the older design which had a spring locking counter weight.

Other changes include: a redesigned cover plate casting (81037LHW, 81038RHW), redesigned rotating head casting (81022LHW and 81023RHW), and Garcia Mitchell 300 is engraved on the cover plate for reels sold in the USA, and other minor changes.
