Penn Torque/Fathom anti Reverse sleeve position ?

Hey guys,
With all the downtime, I'm doing some reel servicing. On my Fathoms and torques I've noticed there are two different sides to the anti reverse sleeve.
When put back can tell any difference in function in either position but wondering what the proper position is? Schematics aren't clear. If put in wrong is there some malfunction that will happen under load?
