New guy needing help!

I have been checking this website out for a while, and it seems like a no-brainer to join. I have already come across a lot of good stuff! Can someone offer some assistance on this reel? I tore it down, cleaned and reassembled, and I think it is working fine. I am not at all familiar with these types of reel, and I can't seem to find any info on the particular one. It's an Ambassaduer, but I cannot find any information on it at all. It looks like the model number is an HS-ILL? It says "the Original" on the side casing, but those are the only identifiers I can find. A friend gave it to me, and I'm thinking it's not working properly. When I spin the handle quickly then stop, the spool keeps spinning. I think it did it before I took it apart, but I can't tell for sure. Anyone?

I'd guess a Royal Express II. Possibly the "HS-IIL" means High Speed, Royal Express II, Left Hand.
