Fishing season is very short around here, and getting the green light to wet a line comes with a price.  I love fishing, but a happy wife is tops on my list. It's no secret, just a bit of yardwork and home maintenance does the trick... Happy wife, happy life !!

Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Those are cool looking trees, kind of yard art   Next level topiary for sure. Very creative.  I'm thinking Douglas fir?  They sure look healthy

Love how you kept the mower lines even around the shrub island in the front left. Great attention to detail!!

Also what type and age of that tree? Some sort of weeping Alaskan cedar?

Chamaecyparis nootkanensis or Alaskan weeping cypress is my guess? They also remind me of the Grinch in Dr. Seuss!

Yes those goofy trees are drooping/weeping variety of hemlock or fir. Those 2 trees were 10' tall when we moved in. Most the limbs were drooping and some blocking the walkway, so I started cutting, but left a few weird limbs that were trying to point up. 16 years later and now the trees are over 70' tall.

Yes Rudy, it's almost alby time. Spellcheck never heard of alby(albacore tuna) LOL.... Also known as unicorn or sasquatch to Californians
