Got 2 Mitchells 302's from a guy to look over. One is reportedly never fished, and it looks like it. The other he got to actually fish but found this issue. The handle knob screw was replaced with a plain SAE threaded screw. This meant the handle shank was buggered up. I can find the handle knob screw at Mat's but have not found the correct shank. Is there a newer handle assembly that will work, or can anyone direct me to a clean used handle shank for a 302.
1st pic is the screw that was used with a random one that may be a Penn for comparison. Pic 2 is the buggered up shank, pic 3 is the handle (different) on the "unfished" 302. pic 4 what came on the 302 he wants to fish. Any help appreciated. Tight lines!

Should have everything you need, Chris —

Good Used $10, new $15.

Will look before 10:00, in a couple of hours.

Got a Zoom meeting coming up in 4 minutes.

Let me know if this would work.

Best, Fred

Got whatever you need, Chris —- can send you as much or as little as you wish —- crank, thumb nut, connecting axle, knob, and knob screw.

Fred comes through again! Thank you Mr Oakes. A whole lot better than before, to say the least.
