I ordered the SHARPSHOOTER SIX on amazon,it arrived broke so I never got to try it out.I read somewhere it was supposedly the best for casting lightweight jigs and had planned to mount my Cardinal 3 on it. Amazon shipped it in a triangle shaped box 1 inch longer than the rod and it was bent,I figured it was broke before I opened it and it was.I have ordered rods straight from BnM and they ship in a thick round cardboard tube with metal plugs on each end.I have always liked Ugly Stik lite rods for their durability maybe a little heavier than a fenwick eagle and have always wanted to try an Ugly Stik Elite.I prefer cork handles unless its a dock queen, then foam, the sun does a number on cork.I coat all my cork handles them with poly or penetrol.

define "lightweight jigs" -- not only weight range, but whether compact/streamlined or floppy "parachute"
define "best" -- distance/accuracy/line-protection/bite-detection/etc.

...and, in this case, define "casting"  ::)  if "shooting" is what I think it is (very likely from rod description),
"best shooting rod" would be poor to fair, for anything else due to significantly different blank requirements

unless you specifically intended to "shoot jigs" OFTEN, BE HAPPY THE ROD BROKE!!!
gives you a chance to consider something more versatile, yet functional for rare "must-shoot" situations
maybe, even a pitch/flip lo-pro baitcaster combo might be better
for anything other than EXTREME overhead restrictions -- e.g., under SERIOUS docks

I believe they referenced 1/32th jigs,I am trying to find the article again will update.it was written by someone sponsored by BnM'... so free rods for him! Most dock shooting rods I have seen are under 5'.I was looking more for a sensitive rod for casting small jigs with 2-4lb line not dock shooting. If you know a good one please share.I have rarely paid over $40 for any rod,I may be missing out,but I can't justify it for my type of fishing <release to the grease> :fish

all my personal stuff is OLD:
my 1st crappie jig pole was BnM 30+ yrs ago, back when they were "96% graphite"
it was OK for 2-3 yrs., until it exploded from carp/cat abuse
subsequent couple WallyMarshall (way back when Wally was BPS Exclusive)
were better quality & still going despite similar carp/cat abuse
Wally's best (at the time) 9' 2-6# cork/IM-8(?) is a favorite, despite stupid universal guides
 NOTE:
  • most crappie jig poles DO NOT have proper spinning guides
  • you WILL get line-slap with ANY spinning reel, even tiniest Daiwa/Shimano 500-size
  • you can get OK distance using rod's length, but guide system works against you for casting :(

if you want proper Spinning UL with lengths/actions/prices similar to crappie poles, consider Daiwa:
$50 Spinmatic for up to 8', or Presso for something longer and/or better ($60-80)

all my best (as in, no glaring flaws) $35-$50 rods, are actually $80-$100+ rods, bought half-price or cheaper
some old cheapo's where I love the blank & handle is OK, but guides are junk

I will check those out,I just caught 3 crappie off the dock at sundown with a blk/chartreuse crappie magnet in 5 mins.On this rod super light and sensitive IM8.I have the 6.5'  version it's great for casting.Model WMSS66ML Action Fast with a Slab Shaker MSC75 reel it's my goto crappie setup.I prefer to matchup my own combos like this.Although both Lew's products.I highly recommend this setup, you can feel the lightest tap.

https://daiwa.us/collections/freshwater-rods/products/presso-ultralight-rods

all strictly UL 1-4# or 2-6# line; ALL go down to 1/32 oz. jig
lighter than crappie-specific -- prob. too fragile for heavy brush or spider trolling arrays
otherwise, BETTER enjoyment of comparatively small weak fish w/ paper lips
IMHO, crappie-specific is too heavy for crappie -- I prefer UL w/ specs as above
I use the long jig poles as cheap float rods for much bigger fish
also like the 9' Wally w/ baitcaster as UL pitch/flip rod for smallies
