Holey Moley!!  Thats a big NO NO...  Defective for sure...

I own 3 Revo's..   2 Inshore & Toro 60..   No problems at all yet!! 
Have changed out the kick lever on them right out of the box & did the Alan Tani Pre-use service on them all....   I really Like them a lot!!!!

That's good to know. The reel I had already had the new lever. I think I'm going to give it another try and order a St. Coix tidemaster along with it.
