I looked up the exchange rate when I looked for a used reel on eBay, the exchange rate is as low as I can remember.

well, the reel was repaired with brand new replacement parts from mystic and it seems to be working pretty good, so good that it just need the real world test to check if the repair job was a success.

the next is a short video of the reel working as good as it was before the accident

freel spool is smooth, no weird sounds while cranking with the drag activated, two speed system working as it should

time will tell ......... and I will tell you back

Good job Alex. Glad you saved that reel from the trash can.  Bill
It may not be very productive,
but it's sure going to be interesting!

Do what you can with that you have where you are

Yeah, I was sure from the first pictures, it was a potential parts reel. Great job! But keep us posted on the real world tests.
