Been a minute since I've been back on AT.com so I hope everyone is doing well!

Was in Florida Oct 10-15 to settle my fathers final affairs and to visit him at Barrancas National Cemetery for the first time.

While there I hooked up with my good buddy and Kalifornia transplant, Freddy. Freddy is a fishing machine and owns nothing but the best. The plan was to fish the Gulf but on the one and only day I set aside to fish the weather was horrible, so we stayed in the bay. I wouldn't have cared if we didn't catch any fish, it was just good to see him again.

We ended up fishing all over the bay in Panama City and we caught a lot of fish, nothing to brag about though. My goal was to catch a Grouper and a Red Snapper, neither happened!

Towards the end of the day the wind layed down so we made a mad dash to one of his honey holes 12 miles off the coast. Which was a bad idea...but fun. I caught a Trigger Fish and one of those fish that attaches themselves to a shark before putting on live vests and heading back.

Again, worth every second,

Steve

While in Pensacola we tried to visit the Naval Aviation Museum after visiting my Pop. No luck. I was a Deck Ape on an Aircraft Carrier in a past life.

But it just so happened the Blue Angles, when no on the road, practice on Tuesday. It was Tuesday!

I have all of the answers, yup, no, maybe.

Sorry to hear about your dad, Steve. Hope you get to make it back there and get offshore!
