You just need to pluck, gut and cut up a few hundred broilers and you'll get over that little fobia. 😂 🤣
Love those open face spinning reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco Cardinals)

My little sister has laying hens but she's talking about getting meat birds. I volunteered to help process em. I truly think cold chicken out of the fridge feels WAY too similar to the skin of deceased humans in the "appropriate cooling facilities" at the funeral home where I used to work.

Eww! 🤢

That reminds me of a funny story from my past work days. 😁

The local Mortuary was remodeling a couple of floors in their building. I met the carpenter there to do a framing inspection. We went in the back door & up the stairs. We were talking, went around a corner into a room and right there was a stiff in an open casket! 😲 🤯 Had him ready for visitation that evening. 😳 Shouldn't have been surprised but I about fainted. 😂 🤣

The embalming room at Kriegshauser South was in the basement, down a little ramp. Coincidentally, right across the hall was the storage area where the Coca Cola for the vending machines was stored. I am told that the crew decided to freak out the Coke delivery guy one day, so one of them laid on the embalming table under a sheet. They instructed the Coke guy to cut through the embalming room to put the cases in another part of the building. As he cut through the guy on the table sat up and moaned. Apparently the Coke guy didn't see the humor and declined to go in the basement any more.
