-----Hi Jon here again! I'm a member of the Outdoor Writer's Association of America, and my work has been published in Field & Stream, Sport Fishing, Traveling Sportsman, Pacific Coast Sportfishing, Big Game Fishing Journal, and Marlin World. I lucked out by catching 8 marlin from my kayak in Cabo last year. As a result National Geographic TV invited me to be featured in their "Hooked: Fish Gone Wild" series. -----When I'm not teaching elementary school in San Diego, CA, or hanging out with my wife and 3 kids, I'm traveling to places like the Amazon, Hawaii, and Mexico, seeking to capture the thrill of fishing as an angler or journalist.
