Thinking of taking my dad on a charter this month. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure but I think most of the action now would be at West Port.  If there is local fishing, these two guys would know. I've never fished with either of these but, You can't go wrong with Jambo Sportsfishing   http://www.jambossportfishing.com/?option=com_content&task=view&id=1,  This guy has a funky older boat and doesn't range a long ways, but he's been fishing the sound for years and knows the area really well. http://www.aaafishingcharters.com/captain.html
