Penn 80vsw concerns

Hi Alan, Just wanted to update you on my Penn 80vsw concerns. I e-mailed penn and the response from Tom Blecker at the service center was that there were some revisions that were done on the early runs of this reel and that I should send in the reels for these revisions. They are doing these revisions at no cost to me. I shipped them yesterday at a cost of $104 with insurance. I requested to get reimbursed for this cost. I also asked him to expedite the revisions because of some tournaments that I am entered in. By the way, I am the president of the Waialua Boat Club here in Hawaii. We are the oldest boat club in Hawaii. I also write a new gear column for Lawai'a Magazine. Check it out on the web. I am also the vice- chairman of the WESPAC Advisory Committee and a recent appointee to an advisory committee to MAFAC .
