Penn 113H original gear

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows if some of the original 3.25 gear of the 4/0 were made of marine bronze and not steel.  I know Penn eventually changed to manganese bronze alloy but did Penn made any amrine bronze ones.  I just bought 4 sets of the gears online for $9/piece including shipping.  Just wanted to have some gears to use if I ever wanted to make some grouper special with these gears.
