good stuff & good luck
them snap swivels,  ???

I know...I'm lazy when on a Cattle Wagon and the swivels just make it easy  ;D ;D I did tie them on with perfect jam knots  ;D ;D ;D

wallacewt

its not the knot tim
its the swivel type, those particular ones are the
poorest quality
you dont want the swivel to give way on your
winning fish
cheers mate

They can come apart, I prefer coastlock snaps.

They are less than $0.20 each here, 50# work for 30# albacore rigs but for lings I use 75# snaps, http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-BLACK-COASTLOCK-SNAP-SWIVEL-7-50-LBS-TEST-40mm-3-16-EYE-/161373688541?pt=US_Taxidermy&hash=item25929f12dd

Cool, I've used both and never had an issue. I do remember pulling apart the "weak" kind on a snag once.

Ron: I've put on the deck 30#-Fish from 500+ in the 1980's-90's on the same damn swivel??? I should change my ways!, now that I'm a grandpa  ;D ;D ;D

Shark Hunter

I use the same type Lee is showing. Rosco 6/0's. I hook my Shark leader to the main line with them. They are rated at 450lb. $1 each.

Check out the SPRO Brand of swivels!  Very small for huge pull strength!

I've used them in Cabo with NO failure rate,

I also use the tiny #10 power swivels for high sierra trout fishing.

Big Tim, for what it's worth, this was only constructive criticism:-\. I personally will only use lock snap swivels, you and Run enjoy using snap swivels.... whatever floats your boat. ;)
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

No offense taken...I actually like those SPRO'S Lee shows. I probably need to up my game bit for when I go after bigger fish, someday one of my cheapo's will fail and I will cuss something fierce  ;D
