The new updated samples were sent to Sal for final checking. If the fitting is good, then a mass production will start at once and it will take 45 days to finish.

Well, I received my spacer bars today and I must say they look amazing

Alan, they did a great job machining these, when i set the first screw the other three holes line up . These are perfect.

everything feels square, the screws are topped nicely, I'm very happy with these

clearance with the spool is nice. pics don't do them justice they look much better in hand

The Newell doesn't look too shabby either

Would these new spacers fit a Long Beach 250 bait caster?

If you mean the Surfmaster 250, yes these will fit, but not on the surfmaster 100-150 or 200.
We are working on those and should be available some time in the future.

Not sure if speedwagon has a 259 long beach or a Surfmater 250?
The 259 has "live bait caster" on the plate I believe.

29L-500.
If you wanted to make the 500 a narrow 501, you will need to find a 29L-501 spool...those are not easy to find.
If you do, it will cost you. If you decide to go with the narrow, you will also need the 30-49 stand, grab those, I have a feeling they will go up in price, right not they're very reasonable from Scotts.
