New reel addict question

Is there  a chart or list that explains the difference Penn reel sizes so I know what I'm reading about as in 12/0, 4/0, 13/0 etc. I don't want to be reading about an offshore senator  when I want to learn about a squidder. .....bob v

All the /0 reels are Senators.  A lot of the others are more difficult as often people refer to the model # and not the Series too.  A 500 instead of a Jigmaster 500 or a 146 instead of a Squidder 146. Being able to tell the players without a program is like having a secret decoder ring and makes it clear that you have a reel problem.

As far as Senators bob,
They get bigger as the numbers get higher. A 1/0 through a 4/0, you can fit in your hand. A 14/0 is as Big as your head!

Yes, what Daron said.  Here is a picture of the Senators from displayed on my plinth.  I took this picture before I replaced the red reels you see with black ones.  The 1/0 is missing.  Dominick
