How hard would it be to have a mak 8 modified to a higher gear for yoyo jigging for yellowtail and wahoo?  I know about the cedros but hate blue! 

Something in the 6 range?

my guess, next to impossible.  you'd have to change the number of gear teeth and the diameters of both gears.  you'd need some pretty serious pull to get something like that done!
