Shimano TLD 25

Hi Alan, I just bought my first TLD 25 and it took me a couple days to realize that it does not click when drag is being taken out. Do you know what would cause this, and is it an easy fix? Thanks.

It's only supposed to click when the clicker (the button on the left side) is engaged. Otherwise, it should be quiet when line is coming off the spool. If the clicker is not working, odds are the clicker spring and/or the clicker pawl is worn and needs to be replaced. This is a simple task. If you go to the Shimano website, you can call up the schematics and order the parts yourself.

if the clicker button popped out, you have to pull the side plate to pop it back in.  http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=36.0
