We have had the Bunker in the back of Jamaica Bay for 2 weeks now. The Bass should be there now but no one is talking.

Mike
I have not failed.  I just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

One of the Bass Sharpies limited out his Charter Boat Sunday in Raritan Bay & stopped for Flounder on the way back to the Bay. All big Flounder.

I usually fish east of the Leanardo Naval Pier Far enough that the Navy boys don't get nervous.

Joe shortly after 9/11 I was cruising by a navy ship moored near AT&T Park when a navy tender with a big machine gun aimed at my came from the dock and made sure I gave the navy ship a wide berth.  I know what you mean about the Navy boys getting nervous.  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

I fished on the Leanardo Navy Pier for many years with a friend who worked at Earl Weapons Naval Base in Colts Neck, which is all connected to that pier. I also worked on base back in the day doing the gas mains on the entire base. Things have gotten a lot tighter since 9/11. The Marines that guard the base are a bit trigger happy so ya don't push there buttons.  :o ::) >:(

Happy birthday Joe.  Did you fish from the inlet wall?  Did you fish slack tide?  The wind and current can be murder there.  Dominick
