Shark and Tripletail!

My teamates in Kayak Wars asked me to stop catching kingfish - seems we already limited for the month. Kings are my "bread and butter" species, so the challenge was to catch other fish for points. I accept!  Once I hooked to the oil platform it only took about 10 minutes of chumming to hook a nice blacktip. Later as I paddled toward the beach I came across a floating tree and wouldn't you know it, a lovely surprise was hiding under it! Other guys had seen it floating there but didn't look close enough or work hard enough to entice the predator out from the shadows

Good Stuff Professor! That was a nice Black tip. I catch them with my feet on the beach. I would really excel if I took some kayak lessons from you.
