I would spool it with hollow core then 300 yards of mono hop shot for trolling. We have our 30W reels done this way for this season. It's seems the largest fish always hit the smallest rigs!

80lbs or 100lbs

also how many yards or meters do you want or "need"? straight braid or hollow core? and different brands different line diameter also same brand line rating lower is thicker, eg jerry brown's 80 lb hollow core is thicker than 100 lb hollow core/ hope this helps...
i will use  jerry brown's 80 lb hollow core

Before you buy let me PM you my price, let me know how much you want/need.  I'd suggest using 100#.

When I spool a trolling reel I put 100' topshots on them. We run our lures closer than that and I prefer the mono still on the rod when trolling to reduce wind knots, 300yards is a lot of mono.  I also use Dacron under the Spectra to take up space.

excellent choice...but keep in mind JB's white 16stnew 80lb's diameter=0.457mm and breaks at 140.55 lbs while the white 12st 100lb's D=0.433 and breaks at 112.37 lbs as tested by paulus just fishing:

more line needed=100lbs   less line needed=80lbs

IMHO these are the 2 sites to refer to when it comes to multi-filament lines ;
