Whalebreath, I've never fished around sea lions, but I have studied sea lion teeth (I'm a veterinarian), and that doesn't look like a sea lion has been at it to me. I could very well be wrong. A sea lions skull/teeth look very much like a dog's. Amazingly similar. I've seen plenty of dog bites. I don't think a sea lion was responsible for those tiny wounds. If it was a sea lion, it wasn't very skilled....

I would have been cussing a blue streak if that happened to me, after I got the fish landed I mean.
I used to have a whole series 20, 30 and 50 TG's.
I was so impressed by them I was tempted to tie them all
together and do a promo video throwing them into the deepest part of Monterey Bay I could find.
I sold them all on eBay for cheap just to get rid of them.
