Keith sent me this really neat old Travel Set --

Martin, Bretton, nice vinyl pouch with original plastic sheaths & Paper.

Lot of history here -- appears to be from the mid or early 60's.

This was the era that many of the major manufacturers were pooling efforts and products together with various partnership arrangements -- Shakespeare, Moulinet, Bretton, Martin, OC, and others.

Rod is very similar to a Wright-McGill Trailmaster -- 6.5' -- or the old Berkely Cherry Series.

Thanks so much, Keith -- this is a beautiful set.

Best,

Fred

Its a beauty Fred. Some of this older stuff seems to be in a class of its own.

Just a thanks for what you do Fred.

I've had this for over 20 plus years. The rod was taken out once, sprayed and wiped down with furniture polish many years ago. The reel hasn't been touched. I actually forgot I had it until it was found a few months ago.
