Im kinda stuck here. I own a 50SW which is "fully built" was built by COFE. I also have a 9/0 Senator in mint condition and Alan Tani's 5/0 handle/grip. Both reels are spooled with 150# spectra and topped with 80#mono.

Im thinking of getting rid of these setups for an Okuma Makaira 130II that's practically new. Was purchased in August 15'. Comes spooled with 900yards 200# hollow core, and 200 yards of 200# mono shock leader. Also comes with the eat my tackle rod.  $850 for this combo

What do you guys think?

Unless your target is grander blue what do you need a 130 for? I can see dumping the 9/0 but a 50sw still has a use.

We do shark fishing off the beach.. would be the main use at the moment. Thanks
