Folks, I'm finding that the 1/16 pin punch is too big for the pin on jiggy's and squiders (I've been getting them in lately). What size do I need for those reels? 3/32?

3/32 is larger then 1/16. 1/16 fits all my jigmaster sleeves Try measuring the punch it might be oversize. It should be under .062 by at least a few thousandth.

Hi RR --

Could be the punch is the wrong size, or mushroomed a little on the end -- put the punch in a drill chuck -- and use a file or a sharpening stone to just take a few mils off the diameter as the punch rotates slowly.

Most of us have a drawerful of modified tools that we would not be without.

Found the issue. The punch measures .070 from tip to shank handle. Time to fine tune it. Right, Randy.....what was I thinkng? ??? ::)
