Purple Accurate Squidder Jr. w/ Acrylic

Hi All,  A while back I was lucky to find a set of purple Accurate plates (NOS) for the squidder.  Randy supplied the frame and spool and Tom H also helped out with parts. Thanks fella's! Most appreciated!

My inventory had a steel gear, SS ratchet from Alan, and all the rest of the goodies to complete the build. I was doing some jeweling for a customer and decided to do the handle and the star. I like it but I wonder if it looks overdone? Maybe just one of the 2 items instead of both?

The knob is stunning and I'm finally keeping one for myself. The local fishing group stopped over after work tonight and all I got was ooohs, aaahs, and I want one, so I think the build came out well and I'm more than satisfied.

The whole color combination is spectacular. This thing really pops!

I always like engine turned bolts on rifles, that is over the top! I'd hate to see you get blood on it, but I'd hate knowing you never got blood on it.
