Here is mine Lou, nowhere close to your masterpiece but I still like it very much.
Of course your knob sets it off as well.
Thanks again buddy, it is easy to do, once someone shows you how its done.

Sal

That's one sweet squidder Sal, and Lou's knob together makes it pop. the machining marks looks like a lot of work, and could easily be destroyed with one wrong move. Even if I had a drill press I still would not attempt it. :o :o

If you can put a reel together from scratch and custom parts -- you can do this also!

I'm not sure I will be posting any more reel pics unless I find a NIB Model F. I may go burn down my shed.

Alto Mare

Sorry guys, I didn't think it was right posting my pics here, don't want to take anything away from Lou's wonderful job. I will do mine later at some point.

Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

Thanks Lou, I knew you wouldn't mind. Mine doesn't really go with the title :) .

Again, great job Lou! I love it!

I'm printing a picture of that reel and hanging it over my bench!

Thanks for all the great comments from everyone! I'm pleased with the build although I do have a mechanical issue that needs to be resolved when I get some time.

The response at the shop was surprising and everyone loved the color. Maybe someday Tom may decide to add it to his plates and I think it would work out well for him!. (HINT!!!)

In between orders I'm working on an Electric Blue CC 4/0. This will have a Blue knob, ribbon Style color, set up as an angled Tbar. Its weeks away though!

All have a great afternoon and thanks again,  ..  Lou

Exceptional work, Lou! The jeweling isn't overkill at all.  You've got one heck of a beauty there, never let it go and if you do call me. ;)
Keep up the insanely beautiful work it's inspiring and motivating,
Dom
