I am unable to reassembly the bail spring so it will flip bail when I reel?
I have tried the spring in several different positions.
any help appreciated.

There is a hole in the mating surface on the pivot of the bail arm that the right angle end of the wire that is enclosed in that spring fits into.  When you open the bail arm that compresses the spring so that when the other wire piece is tripped by the ramp or bump on the body the bail arm is snapped back into retrieve position.  The wire in the spring needs to be rotated 90degrees so it points out and fits into the appropriate hole.  When you have it all lined up that wire/spring will be on the other side of the centre post to what it is now.  Hope that all makes sense  ???
cheers
