" A Pair of Workhorses " dressed and ready for action!

These Yts's have been on my bench incompleted for months! Last week I woke up at 2am, looked like I wasn't going to get back to sleep, so, I went to work.

I've lost count of how many variations of this reel I own. Full Accurate and Tiburon frames, some half frames, A bunch of Newells, some homemade frames, and of course a group of Ted's, some of which I've been fishing with for the past several months.

For pure simplicity, strength, and great looks its hard to beat the Maxed Out kit!

Did the upgraded drags and internals, Adam's star, my handle, Alan T's arm, and Ted's kit. I jeweled the star but decided to do a polish only on the handle, this way if it gets scratched up, its a quick polish to have it looking like new again. The black and the red swirled flanged Acrylic's dresses them up nicely. I did the offset at about 10 deg for this batch of T'bars and I can do anywhere from 0 to 25 deg now with the fixturing I have.

I feel lucky to be a part of the AT group and have everyone's great parts available to me. Basically it lets us put together a Custom or semi-custom reel with a minimal amount of work and time involved and that in itself is priceless! There's a few other sites that show some custom work but for me, The Bosses house has it all.

So here we have the red/black combo and the red combo all dressed up ready for action. I think they make a couple of sharp workhorse's, what do you think?

Louis, Those two reels are waaaaaaaaay too nice to go outdoors. ???aa   Oar out of your sight.  Most excellent work in design and details. .    Keep up the good work.   (In your spare time) .   The tanks need the offset knobs to perform is best.

Gary, the offset knobs are not a problem now that I have made a fixture. Before, it was difficult to hold the part correctly, now, no problem. It doesn't save much time but every one comes out near perfect as possible!
Can do from Zero offset to 25 degrees.
