A few of my Pfleuger's, the heavier one, before service. Nice stuff for it's time.

I love seeing collection like this.  ;D  It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who uses cooking pans for reels.

Those are beauties and well built reels. I have a few of the small ones because of the beautiful egravings. Was surprised at the quality of those reels and the fine engraving that are very reasonable prices. Also one of the coolest reel boxes out there. Makes a nice small display.
Yours look like they'd still fish well. Very strong reel. Thanks for posting

Nice reels John, I'm always amazed of the simple design on those, especially the way the pinion slides on the main gear...very nice collection.
I meant main gear sliding over to engage , of course the pinion couldn't :)
Best,

Sal
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

I love those old capitals.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Thanks for the Capitol John. ;)
It is in great shape.

These remind me of my ABU 12 with the press button clutch and chromed brass side plates.
Very durable looking reels.

I just wiped it off. Didn't want to deprive you of prime time with Never Dull, I know you'll have that baby clean enough to shave by.

I like the Pfluegers with the Williams drag and the primitive anti-reverse that is like a door latch that protrudes from the head plate. I have a few and look for more.
