My Daughter's Delmar

My son recently finished his Baymaster 180 (here: http://alantani.com/index.php?topic=24184.0 )
Of course this prompted my daughter to want to do one as well 
I gave her a Delmar 285 and she went to work.
She's not as into this kind of stuff as much so she mostly just wanted a basic R&R.
The time spent together was what it's all about though!

The purple knob hooked her for sure! Nice to see fishing can be a family affair.

I keep wanting to take my 8 year old son fishing... Trouble is his 6 yr old sister insists that she has to go too.   I can handle either one, but both at the same time is too much for fishing.   I took them both under an inlet bridge last summer and ended up pretty much casting for them nonstop.   It didn't help that we were using baitcaster reels.  I'm going to have to take the plunge somehow and just let them cast.  Wish me luck!

The other conflict is that my wife likes to fish, but if I take her with the kids it will be madness and she won't enjoy it.
