My wife & I have a female friend in S. Georgia USA; she lost her husband (had only been married a few years) a little while back and was going thru some of his stuff & came across about 40 fishing rods; when she told my wife about it, the two of them agreed "it must be a guy thing".  That's about the extent of the "flak", if you can call it that, I get.

i  seem  to  accumilate    reels  and build   rods  and   usually   say  these  are  yours   to use   when   you  go  with  me.   BUTT   she   hates  big  waves,   bright sun     and   wind on  the  water.  I  think  its a fair  trade   she  uses  it   when   she  goes  and i  use  it the rest  of  the    time.  If  the  weather   sucks   oh  well   that  life   see  ya  about    6  pm. zoom   gone
