I have a couple of older Curado CU-100B's and have always cleaned my own reels. I just noticed that one of the reels seems to be missing a part. I have attached a pic which shows this missing part. I have never had any parts left over from my prior cleaning so I am sure I did not forget to put this part back in a reel. This part is a bar/pin that attaches to the Left Side Plate and goes through the Quick Fire II Clutch Bar. This bar/pin looks like it would give support the the clutch bar. This part does not show up on the schematics for this reel.

OK, my questions are:
Is there any way to get a replacement for this part?

Would it cause a problem if I did not replacement this part?

Thanks in advance for any input you can offer.

That pin is not supposed to come out but sometimes they get loose.  Are you sure it is not rattling around inside the tail plate somewhere?

I to have seen that part get loose on that reel in particular it is not part you could order from Shimano it's built into the frame 200b frame would have that same part but the frame on 200b is larger I have used rod bond to hold that part in place or any good 2 part epoxy like j b weld most parts are discontinued for those reels .mabe you can find a used frame on eBay .you almost need thAt part for thumb bar support.
