With the many upgrades we've been doing here, my 16/0 felt left out .

so I decided to dress it up a little :)
I ordered some 1/8 stainless steel plates...not an easy job trying to cut that by hand, but as you can see it can be done


and here are the parts I will be installing on my new 16/0

I'm sure some of you have already seen my barrel handle already.
The handle on top takes one of the frame posts

the extended harness lugs fit in nicely

and here is my dressed up 16/0





I had this idea about 6-7 years ago, Lee and I were working on a few designs but never made it here.
He made me these at the time per my request

They do work nicely on the 10/0, but only if using the frame post, or you won't have enough room for your fingers to fit.

I was inspired with this handle above, from this reel

it belongs to John Taylor...thanks for the inspiration, John!

Sal that double handle Fin-Nor isn't mine it's the first version mine is a couple years newer. But that assist handle is a work of art !!!  Wish I had seen that when you had my reel LOL !!!!!  Very nice.   John Taylor
