Penn 712-Shakespeare 2062 Comparison

The color match on Royal Maroons could prove interesting, as i am under the impression that the color changed somewhere along the line in the sale of these reels.  I note on some of the schematics that a color change might affect parts selection.  Maybe someone has more info that I do.

Yes, the color changed some, from a burgundy/maroonish tint to a somewhat lighter maroon/brownisn cast in the later days.
