Hi everyone!

I need help naming / finding these party for my fly reel:

The first part is a simple carbon fiber washer / ring? or what you might call it?

19mm diameter holes 13mm, 3mm "ring material" and 1mm or 0.9mm thick.

I've Googled for carbonfiber washer but have not found anything close to it at all, there is a very glossy finish to the washer as you can see in the picture, are there other carbon fiber washers that would work?

The second part is a metal washer with 3 small bumps or whatever you may call it?
18 mm diameter, 0.5 mm "bumps" 13mm bore, 3mm "ring material" and 1 mm thick

----

I also have another washer that is "warped" 1mm as you can see in the picture, it is 19mm and the bore hole 9 mm, 1 mm thick

----

Then comes the fun part that I havent found anything close to...

Its a One way clutch assembly, the needle bearing in the middle are a INA - Model HF0812 bearing, and I have no idea what the housing is called.

If you click the picture with it then you can see that there is a double flange housing with grooves on one side, then there is a nylon washer that has 3 bumps on it, and in one of the bumps there is a metall ball with a spring that pushes it into the grooves on the flange, and it then clicks when you rotate it...

Do you know what this is called? Where to get hold of them or were are they sold?

The whole clutch assembly is 18 mm in diameter and three bumps on the white plastic ring is 0.5mm high, so its 19mm in total ( the bumps centers it and then it fills the hole that are 19mm )

I know that my spelling and grammar are not the best and my explanations kinda sucks, but I hope that the pictures can help me :)

Hope you guys had a nice day and Im looking forward to your answers!

Best Regards,

Charlie

The Washer can be cut out of Carbontex, 1 mm is a standard thickness..
If Smoothdrags can size it to one thats available...???

The second pic of the Drag Plate is the eared plate, ears should fit into grooves that keep it from turning....????

The third pic is a Bellville type washer, It is supposed to be like that, it acts like a cushion or spring when you tighten the drag so it has some adjustment.
Without it you would have 'Full Drag' Or 'No drag'...

Email, Call or Dawn at Smoothdrags.com (or here on this site) She can cross ref that drag washer and get you what you need in Carbontex...
The other Drag components look to be in Good condition....

The bearing????
Not sure on that???, but we have a couple of Bearing people here on the board.
Im sure they can/will lend a hand.....

The bearing appearers to be an anti reverse bearing.

This might help, http://www.looptackle.se/website1/1.0.1.0/795/LOOP_OPTi_manual.pdf

Just love the cautionary note at bottom of parts manual. Glad I'm not a trout fisherman. ;D

Hi again Guys!

Thanks for the information in the recent reply´s!

Ive bought one "complete" brake from Loop last year, and they took 57$ for it, but I only need the One Way Clutch Assy because of spring in the nylon thingy got worn and cracked after I hooked a big tarpon ( was fishing for Bonefish...) and now Im trying to find the parts so I can change what part I would like to change, and Im also testing hybrid bearings instead of the other ones in the brake assembly...

We (my company) are also looking for an replacement part for the One way clutch so it wont be in nylon, just plain metal...

Will LOOP sell part #20 separately?  If they will I'd get at least one spare to have next time a tarpon decides to act like a bonefish. I'm assuming the reel is not rated for this kind of "abuse".  This reminded me of the almost cow/cow YFT I hooked on an Avet MX when I was wahoo fishing.  I let it run untill I could see the spool then I broke it off.

Without having the part (#20) in hand I'd say the metal rings are some kind of safety (to keep from breaking a finger?).  When too much radial force is exerted on clutch bearing (or breaking force if your finger/hand comes in contact with the reel handle when it's spinning at 500 rpm or so) the rings slip on the protrusions on the "plastic" bearing carrier allowing the drive shaft/handle to slip backward until the protrusions reengage.

It's hard to tell by photos though.
