Hello Everyone,

Removing the nut, spring and other components did the trick. I am able to screw on the drag knob. I would like to express my appreciation to everyone for their guidance and patience in helping me resolve this issue. This is a great site with a lot of good people. I look forward to enjoying my Penn reels. When I land my first fish, I will be thinking of the great people on this site.

When THE TEAM gets on it here ,,short of the Crack of Dawn and a Broken Heart pretty much anything else can get Fixed .

crack of dawn can be fixed by getting up at crack of noon  :o
