Hi Dave: Welcome.  I have a 9/0 that I bought used.  It is in good shape and I will be using it in June.  Is there a particular way to cast such a large reel?  Dominick
Leave the gun.  Take the cannolis.

There are two things I don't like about fishing.  Getting up early in the morning and boats.  The rest of it is fun.

Welcome DaimondDave.  Yup, a lot of Pennies here.  You'll feel right at home.
:D I talk with every part I send out and each reel I repair so that they perform at the top of their game. :D

Welcome aboard Dave, nice to have you with us. Hey, what happened to the 16/0?
Forget about all the reasons why something may not work. You only need to find one good reason why it will.

$500 or under
Dave:  A 9/0 NIB might go for that kind of money.  Realistically $100-125.  I have an extra 9/0 that you can have for $100.00 + shipping cost.  I put new carbon fiber drags in it and fully maintained the guts.  Cosmetically it is in pretty good shape.  That's what I paid for it on ebay.  If you are interested let me know.  Dominick
