No, not calibrated, James —-

Just "Red-Neck" eyeballed.

However, the wood is a calibrated hard birch.  Birch, Alder, or Oak will last me about 5 years of steady use —- Pine around a month.

Walnut, Maple, or Ironwoods are too hard.

The steel worm-shaft has a "stop" shoulder.  When the bearing is snugged up against the shoulder — you're done.

"0" slop, "0" tolerance.
