Alex, on the 60xxh how did you achieve the blue scaled pattern underwrap? I really like that pattern!

its a thread wrapping technique called, dragon scale wraps, there are few different ways to achieve that pattern, I think I used two different ways in that rod, I was testing new wraps techniques on my own rod  ;D

I havent done those dragon scales again LOL, but on my next time I will use a thicker thread to make the dragon scales pattern so it will be more noticeable

Alex, do you have any youtube videos of your techniques used in rod wrapping. Your finishes on your rods are really exceptional. Do you use flexcoat?

nope, nothing on youtube from me, there are plenty of videos about rod wrapping and different wrapping techniques, maybe one day I will do a video
