Quick 3000 champion series spinning reel

I found a brand new in box Quick champion 3000 series spinning reel.  I own multiple Penn SS spinning reels.  How is the Quick 3000 compared to the Penns?  Are they better built for fresh or salt water?  Any help would be appreciated.
