Hotdogs-What's your favorite?

Coworker was retired A.F. used to boil dogs at work in beer using a 40 cup coffee pot.
It was a monthly thing we looked forward to.He put on a spread with slaw,chili,chips,pickles for $2/head all u can eat,if someone
Tried to get over 2 dogs he would say that's all you can eat for $2 ....

as kids, all we ever got were oscar meyer.  eddie and i would shove a chopstick into one end and hold it over the stove, then grab a piece of wonder bread with a little mustard.

Franks - Nathan's & brown mustard
Weiner - Good ol Oscar Meyer & yellow mustard or chili/cheese.
Honorable mention-the lowly Coney Dog from A&W & a root beer in an ice cold mug.


*But TBH dogs are low hanging fruit in the world of grab & go grub, I'll take a decent cheesesteak over them any day of the week.

LOL, As a kid and ironically unsupervised during summer break, we would "cook oscar myer wieners" on the stove top with forks. Corn tortillas and some ketchup were the go to things to eat. Come to think of it, unless we were eating sandwiches, it was always corn tortillas.

Ahh the simplicity of youth.
