Gear sleeve flaring tool!

I'm going to be a pessimist and put a dollar on the threads inside the sleeve stripping before the sleeve flares enough to be useful. I'd also be worried about the walls of the sleeve splitting when a cone is driven down the middle, brass being soft as it is. I feel like the road I'd go down is building up the shoulders with a brazing rod until oversized and filing back to spec, but there definitely comes a point where your time is worth more than a new sleeve!

But at the same time, you won't know without trying. Look forward to hearing the results.
