Hey Don, I just noticed how heavy duty that yellow headstock is - pretty serious bit of gear.

Yes Mike, it is a bit rough thou, but I had it given to me, so I will persavier till it brakes down.
so, as I was having chuck trouble, so found this on you tube, how to make chucks with these Tommee tippee, milk bottles by TFH, i did`nt know much about them, so I went to the local chemist, to price one, AU $24, but being in a chemist shop, they would now allow me to handle it, so I got on line, & found a pack of 4 for AU $28
So I have mounted a couple, and used them for the first time today, they are working quite good, now the electric motor, with the yellow head, that Mike refered about, I had some trouble with the foot speed controller, it had burnt out some of the wire, in it, so I took all the broken wire out, then joined the two ends together, its working okay,  but he sooner, I can get another one the better.
Now the motor is 240 volt, AMPs .38, so what would be a good quality speed regulator for it, I also was thinking about narrowing the red rollers that the rod pivots on, I think Mike has told me the best way to do that, with my metal lathe, Mike suggested, that I sharpen, some High speed metal, that I do have, real smooth, would be best to work with on plastic, rather than using a insert cutter, I will try to give more info on the turning chucks, as I use them more, cheers Don.

Sorry I also ment to mencion, the black chuck, the set up I brought from, Wallacewt, not long before he past on, his eye sight was really bad by then, But the chuck was never screwed down in line, with the bed casters he was using,  the last 6 to 8 months, the chuck kept coming loose, anyway when I set up the plactic rollers, I could move them in line with the chuck, so that chuck doe`nt appear to be coming loose anymore.
By the way I once mentioned to Alex, that my epoxy, was know were near his standard, I worked out that I was using hospital grade serynges, they have silicon in them, also the mixing cup.
so were getting there, keep well everyone, cheers Don, & thanks again Mike.
