Hi all not sure if the iCloud photo link works but lemme explain. I have a Torium 14 and the roller clutch bearing is fused or stuck to the faceplate. I tried tapping it out but the inner part of the clutch broke out and so now just the outer ring is in there. Problem is there is no way to apply force from the outside of the faceplate due to the way it is flush. I've soaked it in PB Blaster and tried with various pliers but no way to get a grip on it. Any tips on how to get this out?

Heat carefully applied to the outer race could help but you might have to cut it out with a Dremel.

This is a common failure mode with the Toriums and Tekotas (the older gray ones). If you're trying to punch the bearing cage out (which I usually have to resort to on the really corroded ones) it is extremely important to support the sideplate around the bearing recess while you do it. It is easy to bend the sideplate if you are not careful, which will affect the main gear alignment with the pinion.
